Our home health services specialize in services for clients with high acuity/complex medical needs such as tracheostomy and ventilator care, gastric feedings, and seizure management. Do you accept Medicaid (MaineCare) or private insurance for services?

Yes, long-term care home health and personal care services are primarily covered by MaineCare. If your private insurance covers continuous skilled nursing, our services may be covered. We can also make arrangements with families who have long-term care insurance. We are not certified to provide Medicare services.

I do not have insurance that covers personal support services, can I make private arrangements?

Yes, we are happy to talk with you about private pay services. We will work with you to tailor a plan that will meet your needs.

How do I know that Home Hope & Healing staff are safe to allow into my home?

We take the worry out of the process by performing comprehensive background checks along with interviews, screening and reference checks prior to hire.

All our staff meet established licensing and certification requirements.

Home Hope & Healing provides dedicated managers to support and oversee the in-home staff and care.

I am a parent or legal guardian of a minor child with complex needs and there is a shortage of caregivers to provide care in my area. Can I be paid to provide care to my child?

If you are a licensed nurse there is a possibility that you can be hired by HHH to provide skilled nursing care to your child.

How fast can services start?

Home Hope & Healing is always recruiting staff throughout our services areas in Maine. Services can start when qualified staff are hired and onboarded.
